Tanzania Safaris...

An East African nation which consists of the mainland (formerly Tanganyika) and the Island of Zanzibar the country is blessed with beautiful and scenic terrain including the expansive Serengeti Woodlands and Grasslands, well-known for one of the greatest spectacles of animal behaviour - the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and huge herds of zebra along with their predators. Tanzania is also famous for snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest peak on the African continent.

The spectacular Ngorongoro Crater serves as home to a host of animals, including big game as well as an astonishing variety of bird species. Nearby, visitors can trace the footsteps of man's earliest ancestors at Olduvai Gorge. The Lake Manyara Reserve and Tarangire Park feature fabulous bird-watching opportunities. Southern Tanzania's lesser known game parks such as Ruaha, Katavi and Mikumi National Parks are still uncrowded and present travellers with quieter and more personal encounters with nature and wildlife.  The Tanzanian coastline along the Indian Ocean and the Zanzibar Archipelago are home to a number of impressive pristine beaches. Tanzania is also home to different tribes and cultures such as the Masai, who live in the North on the Serengeti plains and who are happy to share their cultural traditions with visitors.
